John was inducted as a member of the Transformational Leadership Council in 2006. Additional experience includes a consultancy at the Office of Pastoral Planning, Diocese of Albany, where he facilitated the planning for local parishes and diocesan re-organization to increase lay involvement; a consultancy for New York State Mental Health, Bureau of Psychiatric Services, where he co-developed and implemented a ground-breaking interactive satellite training program for psychiatrists in the NYS Office of Mental Health Department; a consultancy to the City of Schenectady Universal Pre-K Program, where he evaluated children for special needs services as part of a new programmatic initiative; a consultancy to the Christ Church Day Care Center in Schenectady, New York, where he provided social work services to families and children in at-risk situations.
